Good photos help your item sell faster. Here's how to add and optimise your listing photos.
Adding photos
When creating or editing a listing:
- Go to the Photos step
- Tap Add photos or the + icon
- Take a new photo or choose from your gallery
- Repeat for additional photos (up to 10)
Arranging photos
- Drag photos to reorder them
- The first photo is your cover image
- Cover images appear in search results
- Put your best photo first
Photo requirements
- Minimum: 1 photo required
- Maximum: 10 photos per listing
- Format: JPG, PNG, HEIC supported
- Size: Photos are optimised automatically
Tips for great photos
Lighting
- Use natural daylight when possible
- Avoid harsh shadows
- Indoor photos should be well-lit
Background
- Use a clean, uncluttered background
- Contrasting colours help items stand out
- Avoid messy or distracting backgrounds
Angles
- Show the full item from the front
- Include side and back views
- Close-ups of details, labels, or features
- Photos of any damage or wear
What not to do
- Don't use stock photos
- Don't add text or watermarks
- Don't use heavily filtered images
- Don't hide defects
Removing photos
To remove a photo:
- Tap the photo in the editor
- Tap the delete or X icon
- Confirm removal
Cover photo
Your cover photo is the most important:
- It appears in search results and lists
- Choose your most appealing photo
- Make sure it clearly shows the item
