Cancelling as a buyer
If you need to cancel:
- Go to Reservations
- Find the reservation
- Tap Cancel reservation
- Confirm cancellation
The seller is notified and the item becomes available again.
Cancelling as a seller
Sellers can also cancel reservations:
- Go to Reservations
- Find the reservation
- Tap Cancel reservation
- Confirm cancellation
The buyer is notified that the reservation was cancelled.
When to cancel
Valid reasons to cancel:
- Circumstances changed significantly
- Item has a problem you discovered
- Buyer/seller is unresponsive
- Agreement cannot be reached
Please don't:
- Cancel because you got a better offer
- Ghost the other party
- Cancel frequently
After cancellation
- The listing becomes active again (seller)
- Reviews cannot be left for cancelled transactions
- Multiple cancellations may affect your reputation
Communicating
Before cancelling:
- Message the other party
- Explain your situation
- Give them a chance to respond
