When an offer is accepted, a reservation is created. This holds the item for the buyer while they arrange collection.
How reservations work
- Buyer makes an offer
- Seller accepts the offer
- A reservation is created
- Item shows as "Reserved"
- Buyer and seller arrange collection
- Sale is completed when collected
During a reservation
For buyers:
- The item is held for you
- Arrange collection via messages
- Complete the transaction promptly
For sellers:
- Your item is reserved
- Other buyers can see it's reserved
- Communicate with the reserved buyer
- Mark as sold after collection
Reservation status
- Active - Awaiting collection
- Completed - Item collected, sale done
- Cancelled - Either party cancelled
Viewing your reservations
Go to Reservations to see:
- Items reserved for you (buying)
- Your items that are reserved (selling)

- Be responsive
- Arrange collection promptly
- Follow through on commitments
- Communicate any issues
