Messaging is the best way to ask questions about a listing or arrange collection. Here's how to start a conversation.
Starting a conversation
- Open the listing you're interested in
- Tap the Message button
- Write your message
- Tap Send
The seller will receive a notification and can reply through the app.
What to ask
Good questions to ask sellers:
- Is this item still available?
- What condition is it in?
- Are there any defects or issues?
- Is the price negotiable?
- When and where can I collect?
Finding your messages
To view your conversations:
- Tap the messages icon in the navigation
- See all your conversations listed
- Tap a conversation to continue chatting

Response times
Sellers are notified when they receive messages, but response times vary. If you don't hear back:
- Try sending a follow-up after a day or two
- Look for similar items from other sellers
- Check if the listing is still active

- Be polite and clear
- Include which item you're asking about
- Ask specific questions
- Don't share personal details like phone numbers until you're ready to meet
