Buying

Can I negotiate prices?

Learn when and how to make offers on Biegha listings.

Many sellers on Biegha are open to offers. Look for the "Make Offer" button or listings marked as negotiable.

Checking if a listing is negotiable

Listings show their price flexibility:

  • Make Offer button - The seller accepts offers
  • Fixed price - The price is not negotiable
  • Free - The item is free (no offers needed)

Making an offer

  1. Open the listing
  2. Tap Make Offer
  3. Enter your offer amount
  4. Optionally add a message
  5. Tap Submit Offer

The seller will be notified and can accept, decline, or counter your offer.

Offer tips

Be reasonable:

  • Lowball offers are often ignored
  • Consider the item's condition and market value
  • A fair offer is more likely to be accepted

Include a message:

  • Explain why you're interested
  • Mention if you can collect quickly
  • Be polite and friendly

Be ready to follow through:

  • Only make offers you're willing to honour
  • If accepted, be prepared to collect promptly

What happens next?

When you make an offer:

  • The seller receives a notification
  • They can accept, decline, or counter
  • You'll be notified of their response
  • If accepted, arrange collection via messages

Counter-offers

Sellers may counter with a different price. You can:

  • Accept the counter-offer
  • Make a new offer
  • Walk away

Offer etiquette

  • One offer at a time per listing
  • Don't make offers you won't honour
  • Communicate clearly about collection
  • Thank the seller regardless of outcome
